Paula Maya

Maya's current project is a mix of Bossa Nova, Tropicália and other World-Pop rhythms. Paula Maya is a keyboardist, singer, songwriter, band leader and teacher from Rio de Janeiro. A recording artist with six CDs released and songs in several compilations with artists such as Jimmy Cliff and Carolyn Wonderland. In 2016

she was nominated Best Brazilian Musician living in the US by the Focus Web News Brazilian International
Press Awards.

Paula Maya performs with her 5-piece group, her smaller ensemble and as a solo artist.

Bossa Nova For Everyone! is for musicians of all ages. This 60-minute workshop is open to beginner, intermediate
and advanced musicians and places no restrictions on a musician's instrument of choice, including voice.The goal is for students to learn one of the most famous Brazilian songs of all time:
The Girl From Ipanema (Garota de Ipanema).
